Healing Prayer is a prayer ministry designed to help people encounter God’s love, truth, freedom, and healing. Through prayer and listening to the Holy Spirit, we invite God to bring healing to emotional wounds, spiritual struggles, unhealthy patterns, and areas where people may feel stuck.

Our goal is not to counsel people or give advice, but to help them connect with God and experience His presence and transforming grace.

Yes. Throughout Scripture, God reveals Himself as a healer of both body and soul.

Jesus frequently ministered healing, freedom, and restoration to those who came to Him, and He commissioned His followers to continue His ministry.

Healing Prayer seeks to follow the example of Jesus by creating space for people to hear from God and receive His healing work.

Counseling often focuses on understanding problems, developing skills, and processing life experiences over time.

Healing Prayer focuses on inviting Jesus into specific areas of pain, asking the Holy Spirit for guidance, and helping people receive God’s truth, healing, and freedom.

Healing Prayer is not a replacement for professional counseling, medical care, or pastoral oversight. Many people benefit from Healing Prayer alongside these other resources.

Every session is unique, but generally we:

• Begin with prayer.
• Ask the Holy Spirit to guide the session.
• Discover how woundings from one’s biological father, mother, siblings and friends can negatively affect our relationship with Father, Son and Holy Spirit. 
• Pray through wounds, lies, fears, unforgiveness, oppression or other areas of struggle. 

Sessions are conversational, gentle, and focused on following the Holy Spirit’s leading.

You are always free to share only what you are comfortable sharing. We do not pressure anyone to disclose details they do not wish to discuss.

We trust the Holy Spirit to guide the process.

People seek Healing Prayer for many reasons, including:

• Anxiety and fear
• Past hurts and emotional wounds
• Demonic oppression
• Relationship struggles
• Unforgiveness
• Shame and guilt
• Spiritual discouragement
• Difficulty hearing God’s voice
• Recurring negative patterns
• Feeling stuck in life or faith

This is entirely dependent upon the person receiving prayer. If someone mentions to the prayer team that they would like prayer for demonic oppression, the team will pursue prayers for deliverance.  The team will never pray for deliverance unless the individual themselves desires it.

Our team seeks to listen to the Holy Spirit, but our goal is centered around helping the person receiving prayer to hear God’s voice.

Towards the end of the session, if any of the team members have a prophetic word or picture they will share it.

We believe God heals and that Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

At the same time, we recognize that healing often unfolds differently than we expect. Our role is to pray faithfully, trust God, and leave the results in His hands. We seek God’s presence more than a particular outcome.

There is no charge for receiving prayer. If people would like to support the ministry financially, they may do so, but prayer is freely offered.

Everything shared during a Healing Prayer session is treated with care and confidentiality, except in situations where disclosure is required by law or where there is a risk of harm to yourself or others.

Healing Prayer sessions are conducted by trained prayer ministers who desire to serve with humility, compassion, and biblical integrity.

Typically, two prayer ministers will be present during a session.

Most sessions last around 90 minutes, though times may vary depending on the person’s needs and the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Before your session:

• Spend some time in prayer.
• Fast as you feel led.
• Ask the Lord what He may want to address.
• Come with an open heart.
• Trust that Jesus loves you and desires your good.

We believe God still speaks, heals, restores, and transforms lives today. Healing Prayer is rooted in biblical principles such as prayer, listening to the Holy Spirit, forgiveness, repentance, the renewing of the mind, and the healing ministry of Jesus.

Healing Prayer is not based on a single method or formula. Rather, it is a prayerful process of inviting Jesus into areas where healing and freedom are needed.

Healing Prayer and Sozo Ministry share some similarities in that both seek to help people connect with God, hear His voice, and experience freedom and healing.

However, our ministry is not affiliated with Sozo Ministry, nor do we follow their particular prayer model. We simply seek to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, remain grounded in Scripture, and help people encounter God personally.

Every session is unique because every person and their story is unique.

We believe God speaks through Scripture, prayer, the Holy Spirit, godly counsel, and other biblically consistent ways.

At the same time, we recognize that all impressions, thoughts, and spiritual experiences should be tested and weighed according to Scripture.

Healing Prayer is a prayer ministry, not a psychological technique. While emotional healing often does occur, our primary focus is helping people encounter Jesus and receive what He wants to do in their lives.

We are not licensed counselors unless specifically stated otherwise.

Healing Prayer is not professional counseling, psychotherapy, or mental health treatment.

Many people benefit from both counseling and Healing Prayer. We gladly encourage individuals to seek professional help when appropriate.

Healing Prayer does include deliverance ministry.

Throughout scripture we see both Jesus and his disciples bringing freedom to people oppressed by demonic forces.  The good news is that there is still freedom today through the power of the Holy Spirit. 

God has 100% freedom for all who come to him. We don’t have to wait for heaven to be free.

We are not here to diagnose, label, or analyze you.

We believe the Holy Spirit is the true Counselor. Our role is to listen, pray, and help create space for you to hear from God and receive His healing.

Absolutely not.

We believe every believer can hear from God and should grow in their own relationship with Him.

Our prayer ministers do not make life decisions for people, tell people whom to marry, where to live, or what major choices to make.

We seek to encourage people to hear God’s voice for themselves.

That’s okay.  Our prayer ministers will gently help you with hearing God’s voice. You will not feel any pressure from the team.

Some people receive clear impressions, pictures, Scriptures, or insights. Others simply experience peace, comfort, or a deeper awareness of God’s presence.

The success of a Healing Prayer session is not measured by dramatic experiences. Our confidence is in God’s faithfulness, not in a particular outcome.

You remain in control of what you choose to share.

We never force people to revisit painful experiences. We simply invite Jesus into whatever areas the Holy Spirit highlights and trust Him to lead the process.

We strive to create a safe, respectful environment where people are free to participate at their own comfort level.

We do not use pressure, hype, coercion, or emotional manipulation. We seek to follow the example of Jesus, who was both gentle and truthful.

That is perfectly okay.

Sometimes people laugh, cry, sit quietly, or experience strong emotions as God touches areas of their heart.

Emotions are not the goal, but neither are they something to fear. We simply allow people to respond honestly to what God may be doing.

Only God brings true healing.

We believe God heals and restores lives, but we do not make promises about specific outcomes. Our responsibility is to pray, listen, and trust God with the results.

We encourage questions.

We want people to process their experiences thoughtfully and biblically. If something is unclear, we are happy to discuss it and help discern what God may have been doing during the session.
